Orlando Salesforce User Group – June 2010

I live by the Horoscope Column in the Orlando Weekly

It never fails, every time I come across an Orlando Weekly I opened it up to the Horoscope column and it never fails. I can always relate to it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Your eyes can discriminate between about 500 various shades of gray. Let’s hope your moral compass is as precise in its power to distinguish subtle differences. Why? Because there will be no easy black-versus-white decisions to make in the near future; no simple, foolproof way to determine the distinctions between good and bad. I recommend that for now you give up hope of achieving utter certainty, and instead celebrate the refined pleasures of nuanced, complicated truth.

January Meetup – Orlando Salesforce User Group

Today we has an awesome turn out at the Monthly Salesforce User Group. At this month’s meeting we discussed Salesforce community announcements, Spring ’10 Reasons and akaCRM’s 2010 New Year Resolutions. @CRMjen and I also gather feedback from some of the attendees to start planning out Orlando Mini-Dreamforce. Save the date Sat, Feb, 20th – More details to follow soon.

Dreamforce Bound!

I‘m exceptionally excited about attending Dreamforce! So I decided to follow suit and talk about my excitement after seeing a tweet from @CRMFYI.

I attended Last Year and totally drank the cool-aide.  It’s a great event!

It’s Official – I’m Force.com Developer Certified

Last year a Dreamforce ’08 I was issued a voucher to an exam since there was some type of glitch in the registration so aarlier this year I vowed to get Certified in Q4. I’ve been working the Force.com platform for just over 3 years now and I LOVE it! So only makes sense.

I opted to take the Online Proctored Exaam so after an hour and a half of answering questions and 1 webcam purchase I was very proud to receieve the email below.
