What a Weekend! Who knew that a small event @CRMjen and I created last year would double in size from one year to the next? At one of our last user group meetings prior to Dreamforce 2009 I surveyed the members who attended and asked who would be attending #DF09. I was disappointed at my finding, a good portion of the room said they were unable to attend because their company wouldn’t finance their trip. I thought to my self “Damn”, that sucks these people have no idea what they are missing out on. Then I had a eureka moment —- what for it….. What if I could bring #DF09 back to Florida with me? Sounds like a big idea but with with the support from some key people it was easy and I was happy to do it! Last year we had ~80 Registrations and ~45 actually showed. This year we had 126 people register and 90 enthusiastic people showed up to dedicate their Saturday to learning and collaborating with other salesforce.com geeks like myself. The response and energy was incredible! This day would have not been possible without our sponsors Riptide, Informatica, Silverpop, BlueWolf, iLinc and CloudTrigger nor my fellow user group leaders from Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.

It’s never to late to keep the Dreamforce Momentum going! This morning I finally finished my 2nd iMovie production to complement my previous #DF10 video posting back in December.
